Operations Manager

Manage the overall operations, for multiple business lines, to ensure quality, error-free products and services to customers while meeting safety, operational and financial goals. Responsible for day to day operations of the base(s), while seeking continuous improvements in Safety and Quality. Responsible for the on time delivery of products and services to both internal and external customers. Responsible for developing staff and recognizing high-potential employees.
Lead, direct and oversee all field operations in a designated area representing multiple business lines and ensuring quality service execution
Manage all facilities in the area of operations
Provides general guidance and strategic direction to employees in order to set daily scheduling objectives, interpret customer standards and requirements, and resolve unusual and or nonrecurring problems.
Partners with the sales organization in the sales, service and distribution efforts of all business lines within the base(s).
Responsible for ensuring inventory levels are proactively maintained to fill customer orders.
Ensures that physical inventories are conducted per policy and that inventory count and system count are accurate.
Monitors non-productive time (NPT) and develops and implements plans to improve TechnipFMC responsiveness.
Customer Service
Partners with the sales organization to develop and grow customer accounts within assigned area of responsibility.
Solicits customer input to gain an understanding of customer needs, problems and systems in order to provide a complete TechnipFMC solution.
Prepares and makes Key Performance Indicator (KPI) presentations focusing on value to the customer.
Stays abreast of new products, competitor strengths and weaknesses and economic trends in the area. Attends trade shows and communicates potential opportunities to other TechnipFMC Technologies locations.
Responsible for the overall P&L for all business lines within the assigned location(s).
Coordinates with Regional Manager to assemble annual operating budget and forecast.
Develops and executes equipment forecasts that compliment overall company goals and drives team to achieve committed performance results.
Partners with the Sales organization to execute sales strategies for key and target accounts and aid in the compiling of information needed to prepare proposals.
Tracks performance of key financial indicators including compliance to cost center budget, personnel utilization, pricing, customer invoicing and collections.
Reviews and approves invoices and purchase orders, as well as purchasing of supplies and equipment.
Monitors backlog status, inventory management and service utilization. Identifies opportunities for improvement.
Prepares monthly reports and internal memos to management to communicate and outline opportunities and to take corrective actions to resolve issues before they become problems.
Responsible for Quality and the investigation of non-conformances.
Ensures compliance with API, ISO and other certification standards.
Participates in and manages the Quality System and Self-Managed Impact Quality (SMIQ).
HR & Training
Responsible for enforcement of and adherence to TechnipFMC Policies and Procedures, as well as Principles of Integrity and Core Values.
Partners with Human Resources on personnel actions, including success planning, development and policy compliance
Ensures that all employees maintain a current status on required training and assessments.
Trains, monitors and coaches team members to improve skill level, to ensure adherence to principles, policies and standards and to improve safety, quality and process reliability in a cost effective manner.
Promotes "Destination Zero" and "No Touch" to help create/maintain a workplace environment that fosters a positive HSE culture.
Providing guidance and direction to operating locations so they meet the requirements of the HSE Policy.
Participates in regular HSE audits and "Adopt-A-Base" initiative.
Is responsible for the timely submission of HSE incidents into the KMI system.
Partners with HSE to investigate HSE incidents and actively manages all corrective and preventative actions.
Ensures compliance of the HSE and Quality policies and procedures by contractors and visitors.
Partners with the HSE organization to develop action plans and programs to meet annual objectives.
Manage facility maintenance, security and improvements, in the absence of a Facilities Manager.
Proactively manages environmental issues and ensures compliance with Federal and State standards including hazardous waste disposal and air quality standards.
Bachelor's degree required with 6 or more years of experience in field and 5 or more years of additional experience in a supervisory or management role
Demonstrates a high degree of initiative, judgment and resourcefulness with the ability to find creative solutions to multi-faceted and/or time sensitive problems.
Demonstrates the ability to deal with numerous and changing priorities and to proactively address issues relating to personnel, capital, facilities, processes and profitability.
Demonstrates operational commitments and impact on related area.
Alignment of actions and decisions to all of TechnipFMC Core Values.
Must have a valid driver's license and be eligible to drive a non-CMV under TechnipFMC's Driver Eligibility policy.
Ability to travel to countries outside the US without restrictions.
Must be able and willing to travel and possibly relocate.
Effective written and oral communication skills.
Proven track record in building successful relationships with internal and external customers.
Proficient PC skills with knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software and the ability to optimize the use of technology and systems to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
Must have demonstrated understanding and successfully accomplished set performance metrics.
Demonstrated knowledge of financial reports, forecasting and P&L statements.
For internal candidates, may not have any active disciplinary records within the past 6 months, or scored a "Needs Improvement" on most recent performance appraisal.
Temperature controlled office environment, with appropriate amount of time in shop environment and / or on customer location to suitably understand and manage operations.
May be exposed to possible hazards including high noise, heavy machinery, and shop traffic.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Frequently standing and operating computer. Driving vehicles.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
