Sr. Engine and Compressor Analyst - M

The Engine and Compressor Analyst provides predictive and condition monitoring services for EQT's compression facilities. The analyst utilizes specialized analysis tools, including Windrock portable performance analyzers, CSI vibration analyzers, FLIR and Fluke thermal imaging and gas detecting cameras, and company software to test, sample, monitor and analyze compressor fleet to optimize reliability and performance. Implements predictive strategies to facilitate an overall reliability focus on maintenance and operations.
Follows prescribed schedule of analyzing rotating and reciprocating equipment to detect and prevent failures, optimize asset performance, and provide insight into equipment condition
Field collection of various forms of data from facilities and equipment.
Aggregate and analyze various data sets, from multiple sources to assess equipment condition and predict mechanical failure
Leverage various predictive data types including: vibration (FFT) analysis, acoustical, pulsation, thermography, emission analysis and other forms of data
Develop prescriptive maintenance recommendations to ensure optimal availability of equipment and to shift mode of maintenance work from reactive to predictive;
Develops, maintains and reports ongoing performance metrics on engines, compressors and other critical equipment within compression facilities.
Lead challenging equipment diagnostic and troubleshooting situations
Provide Technical support and/or training in the field
Required Skills:
Associates degree in technical field. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
Six years of related experience, including comprehensive knowledge of the operation of internal combustion engines including 4-stroke, rich and lean burn, as well as 2-stroke lean burn models
Valid driver's license
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Ability to analyze and manipulate large quantities of data
Comprehensive knowledge of the operation of internal combustion engines including 4-Stroke, Rich and Lean burn, as well as 2-Stroke Lean Burn models
Familiarity with the use of portable emission analyzers
Thorough understanding of gas (TEG) dehydration systems
Ability to pass a physical capabilities test (which includes, but is not limited to, lifting and carrying 70 lbs., walking 1/2 mile at various inclines, etc.) necessary to demonstrate the physical ability to perform the essential functions of this job
Preferred Experience:
6-8 years of natural gas industry experience
Vocational and/or manufacturer certification specializing in internal combustion engines
Knowledge of reciprocating compressor analysis equipment such as Windrock and Dynalco
Experience with reciprocating compressor analysis software including: Windrock, Dynalco, and CSI Vibration; working knowledge of OEM sizing and design software such as Caterpillar GERP and Ariel Performance

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
