03/12/2024 This position exists to maintain a safe, secure and orderly learning environment for students, teachers and staff.
This position provides assistance with school safety support services in IU1 programs, provides assistance with disruptive students, monitors visitors to IU1 programs, provides coordination with law enforcement officials as needed.
The duties and responsibilities of this position include making recommendations regarding school security issues, responding to emergency situations on school property, preparing written reports for appropriate school officials, and patrolling school hallways, classrooms and school grounds.
Additionally, this position uses current practices of positive behavior support techniques that comply with school law and IU1 policy, procedures, and training.
This is a contracted position, and the hourly rate range is $22.
00-$25.
